The book on the Salone
Paola Biribanti, a young Roman journalist, accidentally discovered the International Humor Fair and its 52 years of life, one of the longest-running annual events in Italy. As a good art researcher with an enterprising journalistic spirit, she contacted us a couple of years ago for more information. From that moment on, a dense triangular correspondence with her and Rosella was born to track down authors, events, documents and any other material relating to the Salone.
In short: a collection of interviews, anecdotes and memories of about forty people who have made the history of our event is born. How does it start? With a quote from Angelo Olivieri: "the only bad thing about the Salone is that it no longer exists". Dear Angelo we have decided to prove you wrong! Come to Bordighera on August 26 and you will find both Paola Biribanti and the 2022 International Humor Show!
