Bitola, 1924 - 1994
He began making cartoons as early as his high school years. He soon began collaborating with important newspapers such as Hürriet and Günaydin and with many satirical magazines such as 41 Buçuk and Dolmuş, founded by the cartoonist Turhan Selçuk, a great friend of his. Very present and active on the international scene, he also obtained several awards in Italy, especially at the Salone, where he became a constant presence and respected member of the jury. He is still remembered as "the gentleman from Beşiktaş", a district of Istanbul in which he lived immersed in the atmosphere of cafés and markets, in close contact with the common people who were his greatest source of inspiration, as well as the main recipients of his art he.

The event could not have lasted for over fifty years without the contribution of numerous "volunteers" and "precepts" who brought enthusiasm and desire to do whatever the task received, with nineteenth-century shifts!
