Pfeffikon, 1939 - 2014.
Born in a small town in Switzerland, only since the 1960s has he dedicated himself full-time to the activity of a humorist, caricaturist, illustrator and painter, publishing regularly in international newspapers and magazines. In 1966 he began a regular collaboration with the satirical magazine Nebelspalter, but in the meantime he also illustrated children's books and created the cartoon series Muck, named after the family dog. Not only. Since 1983 he has gone to Florida twice a year to study the flora and fauna of the swamps, another great passion of his, so much so that in 2005 he received honorary citizenship of the Everglades (and alligators became the protagonists of his drawings) . In Bordighera he won many awards and in 1981 the Palme d'Or. He then presided over the Salon's jury for several years.

The event could not have lasted for over fifty years without the contribution of numerous "volunteers" and "precepts" who brought enthusiasm and desire to do whatever the task received, with nineteenth-century shifts! From the choice of the drawings, to the preparation of the panels (always the same every year), to the posting with various pins of the hundreds of drawings up to the presence on stage.
We therefore want to thank, in absolutely no order but with equal contributions, all those who come to mind, apologizing if we miss some, but we are ready to fix it!
