Lucio Troijano, Italy, is awarded the Palme d'Or, Arend van Daam, Netherlands, the Golden Date for the Fixed Theme while Quino designs the manifesto. Fremura & Vannucci win the Palme d'Or for Humorous Literature with "Balocchi e Profumi".

It is an event full of events but the most important one, the historians do not want it, is not the inauguration by the Minister of Tourism, Egidio Ariosto, but the presence of Alberto Sordi who presents a book written together with Giancarlo Governi, "History of an Italian ". Other book presentations include Massimo Grillandi and Marcello Venturi.

Alan Ford's tenth anniversary follows with the publication of the magazine "Bordighera o Morte" set at the Salone and in Bordighera, where our ramshackle heroes must discover an elusive killer.

But to end with a flourish and in an incandescent way, Beppe Grillo arrives and the Magician Silvan follows for the award ceremony!

The Awards

The Salone recognizes the artistic qualities of the participants in drawing and literature with several awards.
